Matthew Holden - Sales Assistant

To say this chap is passionate about angling is an understatement! Since being resident in the UK, Matt has fished for trout in Ireland whilst living and working there, as well as travelling to fish many of the rivers and lochs throughout Scotland. He has built up a wealth of experience on the UK trout fishing scene and ventured to Italy many times to chase wild browns.

Originally from South Africa, he started his fly fishing young and trained as a hatchery manager and bailiff on local waters, as well as working in a specialist fly fishing store and fishing both fresh and saltwater with a fly during his time . He has an excellent knowledge of fly tying which is a rarity in a Central London Fly shop and is keen to encourage anglers to tie there own flies when the fish aren’t biting.
